Hold the phone, February’s Glossybox is AMAZING!!! With a Valentines Day theme (although it arrived after the 14th which is a bit of a shame) this month’s Glossybox is all themed around the perfect date night, with a little bit of self indulgence here, and a spot of sass there, and even the chance to win a trip worth £1000! Even the box itself had a romantic makeover, c’est parfait, non?
Nougat London: Sparkling Body Shimmer
This product looks and smells delicious! This shimmery body lotion with mallow extract, Vitamin E and wheatgerm enriched oil left my skin so soft, I can’t wait to use it in starts getting warmer and I can get my sparkly legs out! (Available from nougatlondon.co.uk – rrp £14 for 250ml)
Eldora: Eyelashes (Full size product)
I’m not actually a big user of false eyelashes, but I quite like the look of these. I haven’t used them yet but when the occasion arises I will keep you all posted! (Available from www.eldorashop.co.uk – rrp £3.90)
Ciaté London: Paint Pot (Plastic Fantastic) (Full size product)
I’m not normally a pink nail kinda girl, but boy have I been missing out! I absolutely love the deep pink of ‘Plastic Fantastic’. This is one of the many reasons I love Glossybox, without it I would still be missing out on pink nails! Ciaté London is a British nail brand specialising in professional, long lasting, colourful nail polishes. I absolutely love my new polish and can’t wait to buy some other colours (maybe I’ll stock up ona range of pinks, although the Fairground collection has caught my eye!) The amount of attention that Ciaté put into their product goes all the way to the bottles themselves, each one adorned with a little satin bow. Gorgeous. (Available from ciate.co.uk – rrp £9.00 for 13.5ml)
Giovanni Eco Chic Cosmetics: Chic ultra-moist range
I usually find it tricky to decide from one sachet sample whether a product works or not, but not this time. After using the shampoo, conditioner and mask my hair felt amazingly soft and nourished. A big plus for this product is that it contains natural and organic ingredients, including Moroccan argan oils, avocado and papaya My hair is very fine and I find that I need to use haircare products that offer a bit of a volume boost. Whilst these 2Chic samples left my hair incredibly soft I did find it also left me with rather flat hair, if only they did a volumising version! I would definitely consider buying this again in the future if only to use every now and again when my hair starts to feel like it needs a little nourishing. (Available from healthbeautynetwork.com – rrp £7.99 for 251ml)
Maybelline New York: Big Eyes Mascara (Full size product)
I love, love, love, love, love this product, so much so I have worn it everyday since my Glossybox arrived!! I have really stubby little eyelashes and an incredible talent of getting mascara on my nose every day without fail!! It’s a double ended mascara, a skinny wand for the bottom lashes and a thick brush for the upper ones. I like to run the thin side through my upper lashes, especially in the corners where I find I often make a mess with a larger wand, and again after I have used the larger wand to brush out any clumps and seperate my lashes a little. I absolutely adore this product and will 100% be buying it again when I run out. (Available from boots.com – rrp £8.99)
There was also a bonus item in this months Glossybox, a Lindt: Lindor Treat Bar! Think Lindt bunny and reindeer in one long, deliciously creamy bar. YUM.
So there we have one rather perfect Glossybox. I can’t wait to see what March has to offer, how can it possibly top this months? Did you love this months box as much as I did?
PS: My apologies for the terrible Instagram photo, next time I promise not to get too excited and use all the products before I have a chance to get my camera out!
